A composition about germination. Out of a faceted cocoon shoots break upward — twisted, with the texture of a stem just watered; around them, on invisible threads, clear bubbles rise, air released by the root. The moment when a seed stops being a seed.

The cocoon is dense and radiant, like a druse: something that opened rather than something that was opened.

By day it is green shoots above a faceted core with a scattering of bubbles — a piece read through the vertical and the colour, fresh and alive. In the evening light from the cocoon floods the shoots from below and the green catches fire — spring-like, almost edible — while the bubbles catch the highlights and dissolve the composition into the space.

Where it works

Staircases, double-height halls, full-wall niches, winter gardens. The vertical story requires height: the shoot has to have room to stretch.

Style

Bio-design and Art Nouveau: germination as subject. The message is fresh and optimistic — a piece for an interior that loves life.
