A composition as a scene. One piece contains a whole underwater episode: a ribbed dome the colour of a sea wave, clear tentacles arrested like jets, and a shoal of silver fish scattering from the centre. Not an object but a moment.

The light is built into the dome itself: it descends the tentacles.

By day it is a turquoise dome with a clear fringe and mirrored flashes around it — a piece read through colour and the composition of the scene. In the evening the turquoise lights up as a lagoon, the tentacles carry the light downward, and the fish flare with reflected highlights: the scene comes alive entire.

Where it works

Children's rooms, bathrooms, poolside zones, spas. It works solo as an art object or in a group at differing heights — like a bloom of jellyfish in the body of the water.
