A composition about a runway. The ribbing on a broad single wing turns it in the evening into a strip of light — the same marking that rules an airfield runway, only carried into the air.

The wings read as gliders or as rays: whole, without division into feathers. Beneath each is a gold keel-cone with light. The white ceiling rails are part of the aesthetic: the installation looks technological, like a light-aviation hangar.

By day it is an almost colourless flock: the wings read through ribbing and form, and the composition is very airy. In the evening light floods the wing from below, the ribbing drives it along, and the flock covers a space with an even warm radiance — a hundred runways overhead.

Lobbies, conference halls, meeting rooms, retail galleries, panoramic living rooms. The even radiance makes the composition the main source of lighting.
