The same shoal in a matte execution. Here the light does not pass right through as it does in the clear version — it comes out from under the wing as a soft halo, and every figure seems lit from below, like a fish above a sandy bottom. One substitution changes the whole character of the scene.

The shoal moves in a wave, rising and falling on cables of differing length, drawn out in a long arc.

By day white against a dark background reads with maximum clarity: the silhouette works as graphic art, without one highlight. In the evening the figures fill with a soft glow and gold points at the fixings — the calmest of the brand's shoals: no glare, no colour, only form and light.

Where it works

Bedrooms, spas, light living rooms, spaces beside water. The absence of glare makes the composition comfortable where people rest and where calm matters.

Style

Marine Art Nouveau and Scandinavian minimalism: movement without shine. The message is quiet — a piece for an interior that does not raise its voice.
