A development of the ring theme at a formal scale. The rings are larger and thicker, with a scattering of bubbles inside: the mass looks aerated, alive, as though the movement in it had not yet finished.
They are held by broad bands of polished gold that curve around the rings the way a setting holds a stone. The device is a jeweller's, and it sets the whole logic of the piece: the transparent here is the gem, the metal only the setting.
By day it is a jeweller's work: gold, transparency, precision of joints — an object to be examined close up. In the evening light travels from the gold clasps into the ring, the bubbles flare, and each ring becomes a glowing hoop with a sparkling core. The separate elements become indistinguishable — what remains is a dense radiant cloud.
Where it works
The scale allows large spaces to be covered — lobbies, atriums, restaurant halls. The sagging centre demands height: the composition is built downward.
Style
Art Deco and jewelled Art Nouveau: the setting as a device rather than as a fixing. The message is formal and expensive — a piece for a representative space.
The number of rings, the dimensions of the cloud and the finish of the settings are all made to order.

On one hand — stylised rays: elongated, swift, with the characteristic smooth line of ‘wings’. They seem to move in a single flow, emphasising the horizontal and the direction. On the other — swans settling onto water. Their forms are softer, rounder, slower. These elements act as an emotional counterweight to the dynamism of the rays. The composition is deliberately left in a zone of ambiguity, where the viewer chooses the association — and it is precisely this that makes the object powerful as an interior sculpture.
