A system of beacons, each with a beam of its own. The cups work as parabolic mirrors: light bounces off the concave surface and leaves as a directed cone — wherever the element is turned.

Because the tilts differ, the composition draws pools of light on the ceiling and walls while at the same time delivering working light downward. It is a rare case of an art object solving the artistic and the technical task with no compromise on either.

By day it is a scattering of gold mirrors, each reflecting the room in its own way. In the evening it becomes a constellation of directed beams that have ruled the space into sections.

Generous halls and double-height spaces: lobbies, atriums, banqueting halls, galleries, showrooms.

Style

Art Deco and contemporary luxury: gilding, mirrors, large planes, formal proportions. The message is theatricality — the composition places accents in a space the way stage lighting places them on a set.
