A composition about living fabric. The spacing on every strand is different — in places the elements sit close, elsewhere long empty stretches remain. The irregularity is deliberate: the curtain must read as cloth, not as a grille, and cloth always has gatherings and gaps.

The elements are tumbled and smooth, without facets: copper-rose, clear, with small gold spheres between them. Not one repeated rhythm.

By day the curtain works as a translucent screen — it subdues the view without closing it, and lives on the reflections of daylight. In the evening the light runs down the strands from above and enters every element: the clear ones flare as white sparks, the rose ones fill with a honeyed tone, the gold spheres give sharp star-points. Moving air makes the plane shimmer and shift — a wall of hanging lights that never stands still.

Where it works

Zoning and decoration — dividing zones in a living room, a screen at a window, a backdrop in a restaurant, the treatment of a stairwell opening, wedding and banquet halls. The suspended structure is installed without interfering with the walls.

Style

Art Deco and Eastern opulence: strands with stones as the oldest way of dressing an opening. The message is festive — a piece for a space where things happen.
