A composition about a deep wave. The line drops sharply at the centre and lifts at the ends — not a gentle ripple but a full trough. The petals hang closer along the crests and sparser in the trough, so the wave is stated twice: by form and by density.

Each element is a broad crumpled petal with a rolled edge, each with a slightly different bend. Mirror-bright gold is mixed with matte white; above the mass runs a net of bare cables that sets the volume.

By day it is the crest of a wave: the mirrored petals catch daylight and invert it, the white ones stay calm, and the line reads as plasticity. In the evening the level of light travels along the length of the composition — brighter on the crests, subdued in the trough: this is real chiaroscuro, not an even wash. A current lit from within.

Where it works

An elongated horizontal format — long dining tables, bar counters, lobbies, meeting rooms. The trough at the centre sets the minimum height above a table.

Style

Contemporary Art Deco and organic modernism: the wave as a classic motif of movement. The message is dynamic and ceremonial — a piece for a table meant to impress.
