A composition about balance. A horizontal rod passing straight through a disc, with collars at both ends — a scale beam, a propeller, a spindle laid on its side. A form from the world of mechanics, which always has a fulcrum and two symmetrical sides.

The spiral descends, thinning downward — the last elements hang alone. Every one is turned differently, so the composition has no principal face.

By day it is a set of clear mechanisms — precise forms with gold details, read through highlights. In the evening the disc gathers the light and flares along its rim, while the ends give directed points with radiant haloes; because the elements are turned at random, the glowing points face every direction. From each floor the piece looks different — a swarm of beams descending in a spiral.

Where it works

A vertical format — stairwells, atria, shafts between floors, double-height living rooms. It is designed to be seen from several levels at once.

Style
