A composition about lace turned by the sea, and about what grows through it. White plates with an organic perforation hold the structure while cascades of ruby elements push through them — the piece shows two natures at once: the bony and the living.
The contrast of white against saturated red makes the composition ceremonial and faintly mysterious.
By day it is white lace with red clusters: the bubbled mass of the ruby elements reads against the light, the perforation as graphic work. In the evening the light passes softly through the clusters, igniting them a deep red, and seeps through the perforation as warm points — the white becomes a sieve, the red a core.
Where it works
Spaces with character — wine rooms, restaurants, living rooms with a dark palette, bars. Saturated red asks for quiet surroundings.
Style
Marine Art Nouveau and dark luxe: coral and ruby as a pair. The message is dramatic — a piece for an interior with a mood.
The ratio of plates to clusters, the depth of the red and the scale are all made to order.

@vargov_design →Light composition LC0548 The suspended light sculpture is assembled from many elements that form a complex spatial structure. White ceramic plates with organic perforation recall corals, creating a sense of natural architecture. Between them cascades of ruby glass seem to grow — clear bubble forms that gather into dense clusters and shimmer with rich shades of red. The light is hidden inside the elements and passes softly through the glass clusters, creating an effect of inner glow. Because of this the composition looks like a living reef or a bioluminescent form glowing from within. This is a spatial light sculpture — an object that shapes the atmosphere of an interior and becomes its emotional centre.
