A composition about a leaf fall twisted by wind. The funnel narrows downward, the elements circling densely — the form of a vortex that has drawn fallen leaves into it.

The light hides in the gold: points of warm radiance are scattered through the vortex like sparks in a fire of leaves. Clear green among the whites works as a fresh accent.

By day it is a white funnel with gold tips and occasional green — a piece read through its twist and silhouettes, light and mobile. In the evening the points light up inside the vortex and it begins to turn before your eyes: the light runs down the spiral from the top.

Where it works

Stairwells and double-height halls. The funnel form requires height — the composition is built downward and reads from several levels.

Style
