Lighting composition
LC0457
A composition about pebbles. The form is deliberately simple — a smooth stone with rounded sides and a live, uneven surface: something a river rolled rather than a craftsman turned. The author adds nothing to it.
The magic comes from the mass: a field of stones on fine needle suspensions shimmers like a shallow in the sun.
By day it is clear cobbles suspended in the air — a piece read through the irregularity of the form and its refractions, calm and quiet. In the evening light comes on at the crown of each and runs down through the mass: the stones fill from within, and the field begins to shift like water over a shallow.
Where it works
Spa areas, pools, living rooms, lobbies, meeting rooms. The field is designed for an area: the composition covers a ceiling rather than occupying a point.
Style
Natural minimalism and wabi-sabi: the simplest of forms, without intervention. The message is contemplative — a piece for an interior that values calm.
The number of stones, their calibres and the area of the field are all made to order.

Each element has its own plasticity — here more elongated and dynamic, there calm and rounded, as if created by nature itself. Translucent glass in a warm amber shade interacts softly with light, filling with deep golden reflections. By day the elements work as suspended art objects, gathering and refracting the surrounding space. In the evening the light reveals the inner depth of the material, creating a sense of a living glow within the glass form. The composition owes its special expressiveness to the central metal accents with a satin finish. They seem to hold the balance between the lightness of the glass and the architectural rigour of the metal, uniting all the elements into a single visual system. Suspended on fine cables, the elements form a multi-layered volume that changes constantly as you move around the composition. From each angle a new pattern of light, reflections and silhouettes is revealed.
