A pond lifted to the ceiling. The bowls open upward rather than down — and that inverts the usual logic: the light here does not pour onto the table, it lies in the leaves like water after rain.
The green mass works as a filter: light passes through it and tints the air beneath the composition a soft grass tone. The white bowls keep the colour from going monotonous — they hold the pause.
The composition holds an international award. What won it was the honesty of the device: form and optics here do not argue, they do one job.
By day the bowls read green against the light — water lying in leaves after rain. In the evening the green mass works as a filter: light passes through it and tints the air beneath the composition a grass tone, while the white bowls remain a pause in the colour.

@vargov_design →Another composition made for a client who sees the difference The Vargov®Design light composition LC0343 is like a fragment of a living ecosystem frozen in the air. Translucent glass elements, alternating matte milky-white and rich green, form a flowing structure recalling growth, breath and the inner movement of nature. The form of each element is never literally repeated: they seem to ‘unfold’, turn and enter into dialogue with one another. Green glass works as a filter — it gathers the light, deepens it and makes the glow alive and multi-layered. The white elements, by contrast, soften and balance the composition, creating a sense of calm and rhythm. When switched on, the Vargov®Design light composition LC0343 changes: by day it reads as a sculpture, in the evening as a light environment. The light does not dominate but seeps through the glass, creating depth, reflections and a complex play of half-tones.
