A branch that was not cut but grown again. The leaves are twisted and turned out of step with each other — there is no garland rhythm here, there is the disorder of a real canopy.

Half the foliage transmits light and half reflects it. Because of that the canopy shimmers the way a tree shimmers in the sun: some leaves burn against the light, others stay dark, and the drawing changes with every step.

The composition is deliberately horizontal: it does not descend on the viewer, it reaches out above them — like a branch over a garden path that you want to stand under.

By day the canopy shimmers the way a tree shimmers in the sun: some leaves burn against the light, others stay dark, and the drawing changes with every step. In the evening the light comes from inside the branch, the clear leaves fill and the gold ones flare — the branch lights up every other leaf.

Where it works

A linear format for a long dining table, a bar counter, a kitchen island, a reception desk, an elongated meeting room.

Style

Contemporary classic with an Eastern note: warm wood, brass fittings, quiet walls. The message is hospitality — a branch above a table reads as the sign of a table laid and a guest invited.
