A curtain after the performance. The panels are thrown over rings and set in different phases: some sag, others are caught up and raised — movement stopped halfway.
The rings work as both fixing and source: light comes out from inside each one and lifts the drapery from below, the way footlights lift the wings.
The model holds an international award.
By day the illusion deceives the eye: you see folds, tension, the weight of cloth — although the object is rigid and holds its form for years. In the evening the light comes out from inside each ring and lifts the drapery from below, the way footlights lift the wings — the curtain turns out to be on stage.
Where it works
A format for wide spaces with high ceilings: lobbies, banqueting and theatre halls, double-height living rooms, grand staircases.
Style
Theatrical classicism and neo-baroque: velvet, drapes, mouldings, deep colours. The message is the stage — the composition turns entering a room into stepping onto the boards.

Soft textile panels are gathered into smooth, flowing folds and suspended in space like floating draperies. The fabric does not merely reflect light — it shapes it, softens it, makes it bodily and warm. Light passes through the waves of the material, creating a sense of movement, breath, an almost living plasticity. This is light not for display but for feeling. Light beneath which you want to stop, sit down and simply look up. It works beautifully in spaces where emotion matters: living rooms, lounge areas, gallery interiors, private spaces.
