A composition about a scree slope. Large crumpled stones hang almost touching, at varied levels, and the mass reads as continuous and heavy — a rockfall suspended in the air a moment before it lands. The density here is not decorative but semantic: scree is never sparse.

Every stone is pressed and folded in its own way, none repeating its neighbour. The polish is unbroken, without matte areas, so the object works purely through reflection.

By day it is a cluster of gold boulders — heavy, rich, read through ragged highlights on the crumpled surfaces. In the evening the light emerges only in the gaps between the stones, strikes the gold flanks and reflects repeatedly, boulder to boulder: the mass fills from within and looks red-hot. Rock just taken out of the furnace.

Where it works

Living rooms with high ceilings, lobbies, private studies, bars, showrooms. A dense heavy mass needs height and clear surroundings — everything else nearby should stay silent.

Style

Brutalist luxury and contemporary Art Deco: a mass of gold instead of filigree. The message is direct and generous — a piece for an interior unembarrassed by force.
