Lighting composition

LC0040

A composition about a thicket. The rods are woven freely, with no geometry at all: they bend, cross and separate like branches in undergrowth. Density is uneven — in places the tubes bunch together, elsewhere the branch stays bare.

The tubes point in every direction and at every angle — up, sideways, down — so the composition has no clear silhouette: it reads as a cloud of glowing strokes rather than an object.

By day it is a thicket of budding branches — gold graphics read through lines and highlights on the ribbing. In the evening the light lives at the end of each tube: the ribbing gathers it into fine vertical hatching, while the holders throw sharp flares. Hundreds of points form an unbroken warm field with the gold frame showing through. A bush full of lights.

Where it works

An elongated horizontal format — long dining tables, bar counters, meeting rooms, lobbies. Having no silhouette, the piece does not argue with the interior — it works through light, not form.

Style

Organic modernism and contemporary classicism: a thicket instead of a chandelier. The message is alive and informal — a piece for an interior with no taste for ceremony.

The length, the number of tubes, the planting density and the metal finish are all made to order.
