A composition about rain under wind. Here the rain does not fall straight down but at a slant: the elements hang with a slight diagonal offset, and the gold tubes bend into drawn-out loops — the trajectories of drops ruled through the air.

The contour fixes an instant of movement, and inside every loop is a clear drop twisted by its flight.

By day it is gold graphic work with clear drops inside — a piece read through trajectories and the diagonal. In the evening segments of light on the tubes lift the drop along its whole length and it shimmers as though catching the last ray before a storm: an arrested downpour.

Where it works

As a horizontal stream above a table or as a dense storm cloud in an entrance hall — the format adapts, the sensation stays. The direction of the wind is set at assembly.
