Lighting composition
LC0550
A composition about an inverted flowerbed. Greenery above, flowering at the tips: the garden is hung roots up, and the leaves reach downward like shoots through water.
Every orchid is a small glowing jewel; the green tier adds depth and sets off the whiteness.
By day it is a graceful botanical installation: green leaves above white flowers, a piece read through its two tiers and their contrast. In the evening the light lifts the petals carefully from within without destroying the fragility of the form, while the green tier stays dark — only the lower edge glows, like a flowering rim.
Where it works
Above a table, in a stairwell, in a winter garden, in a reception room. The two-tier assembly requires height: without it the tiers merge.
Style
Art Nouveau and botanical modern: the orchid as a motif of refinement. The message is refined — a piece for an interior with fine taste.
The number of flowers and leaves and the height and shape of the garden are all made to order.
