A composition about a pirouette. The ribbed funnels read as pleated skirts in a dance — a form that exists only in movement: a stopped skirt does not hold its folds.

The clusters hang as a free group, in tiers on gold cylinders — a dance stopped halfway through a turn.

By day it is a pale group of funnels: the pleating catches daylight and gives a soft vertical hatching. In the evening light enters from above and spreads through the folds — every skirt glows from waist to hem, and the group begins to seem to be turning.

Where it works

Dining rooms, living rooms, reception rooms, banqueting halls. The free group is assembled for a specific plan: the composition can hang compactly or stretch along a table.
