A vortex pressed to the ceiling. The tiers are offset from one another around the circle, and the mass winds into a spiral, forming a shallow funnel — movement with no height at all.

The light enters the rods at their ends and bursts out at the tip as a bright point: from below the composition reads as a swarm of luminous needles converging on a centre. A warm base above and icy tips below give a temperature difference within a single object.

By day it is a decorative rosette on the ceiling — flat, calm, almost unnoticed. In the evening the spiral switches on and a funnel appears overhead: the room gets a whirlpool where usually nothing happens at all.

Where it works

A compact surface-mounted format for rooms with low ceilings, where a full chandelier is impossible: bedrooms, studies, dressing rooms, corridors, lift lobbies.

Style

Contemporary classicism and soft Art Deco: pale walls, gilded fittings, symmetry. The message is opulence in tight quarters — the composition brings ceremony where there is no height.
