A composition about a galaxy in your hand. Thousands of the finest bubbles are sealed within the body of each dish, gathered into a spiral around the centre. This is not decoration but structure: a spiral of air fixed in a clear mass, repeating the pattern by which star systems are built.

The dishes are irregular and asymmetrical, each with its own geometry. There are few of them, they hang at varied heights and are tilted at different angles. The voids between them are as much part of the composition as the elements.

By day it is a set of clear bowls: the spirals of bubbles are visible against the light and the piece reads through detail. In the evening a point lights up at the centre of each dish, the light scatters along the spiral and a luminous galaxy appears around it — denser toward the centre. The light emerges both upward and downward, so table and ceiling are lit at once. A cluster of nebulae.

Living rooms, dining rooms, meeting rooms, lobbies, zones above a round table. The sparse arrangement does not overload the ceiling — it suits medium heights too.
