LC0592
Flat plates of green glass hang in tiers, overlapping with an offset. The face of each plate carries a winding relief, and its edge is cut to follow the same trace. Light enters the glass at the edge and stays in the rims, so the layers read as lines. The plates grow smaller toward the bottom until the mass runs out. Made to project.

@vargov_design →Decorative composition LC0592 Decorative compositions that seem assembled from fragments of a living landscape. Each element is made of translucent art glass in a deep green shade. Inside is a complex rhythm of lines, resembling at once natural veins, labyrinths and organic structures. The compositions seem to hover in the air on fine cables, forming a multi-layered light architecture. From different angles the object changes constantly: — in places it looks like floating leaves, — in places like islands of light, — and sometimes it recalls a digital relief or fragments of a fantastical landscape. It is especially interesting to watch how light passes through the body of the glass: by day the elements look like glass art objects, in the evening they turn into soft graphics of light and reflection.
