A composition about cartography. Inside every plate is a labyrinth of relief lines: the veins of a leaf, the meanders of river beds, the contour rings on an old map. Three readings of one drawing, and all three about how terrain is put together.
Elements with a live uneven contour hover in layers: the composition reads differently from every position — now floating leaves, now an archipelago, now the section of a fantastical landform.
By day it is a transparent sculpture in the air: the deep green reads against the light and the drawing is visible in the mass. In the evening light passes through the plates and carries the drawing outward — green shadows and highlights settle on the walls and begin to live as a separate graphic, and the labyrinths of lines turn into a glowing map.
Where it works
Living rooms, winter gardens, lobbies, restaurants, studies. The coloured shadows on the walls are part of the effect: quiet surfaces are needed nearby.
Style
Natural modern and cartographic aesthetics: the line as the content. The message is intellectual — a piece for an interior that loves detail.
The shape of the cloud, the number of layers and elements and the tone are all made to order.

Inside is a complex rhythm of lines, resembling at once natural veins, labyrinths and organic structures. The compositions seem to hover in the air on fine cables, forming a multi-layered light architecture. From different angles the object changes constantly: — in places it looks like floating leaves, — in places like islands of light, — and sometimes it recalls a digital relief or fragments of a fantastical landscape. It is especially interesting to watch how light passes through the body of the glass: by day the elements look like glass art objects, in the evening they turn into soft graphics of light and reflection.
