A composition about a border that does not cut. The divider does not split a space, it separates it into layers: air and light pass through, silhouettes behind it soften, zones are divided without walls.
Vertical polished strings are strung with white lenses: the module repeats, and from the repetition a graphic is born — light, transparent, almost musical.
By day light from the window plays in the lenses as highlights, and the divider lives on reflections while staying almost transparent. In the evening it is lit and becomes a curtain of light — the border appears exactly enough to be seen.
Where it works
Between a living room and a dining room, a bedroom and a dressing room, in hotel lobbies and restaurants. The transparency gives zoning where a solid wall would be surplus.
Style
Contemporary minimalism and Art Deco: the module and repetition instead of ornament. The message is calm and architectural — a piece that is a background rather than an accent.
The height, the width, the density and the rhythm of the modules are all made to order, to the opening.
