A composition about the spiral of life. The axis grows dozens of tendrils, each ending in a drop: the form reads both as a molecule and as a flower head turning toward the sky. The double reading — biological and botanical — works toward one meaning: growth along a spiral.

The tendrils curve in different directions, and rings of light on the axis ignite them tier by tier.

By day it is a gold vertical with clear drops at the tips — a piece read through lines and highlights, light and mobile. In the evening the rings light up tier by tier, the drops flare at the ends, and the spiral reads as growing: the light climbs it from the bottom up.

Where it works

Stairwells, bay windows, tall niches, double-height living rooms. The vertical takes little floor area and requires height.

Style
