A bridge thrown across where a bridge has nothing to come from. Two ribbons meet at the apex and part toward the edges, breaking off at a crumpled edge — an arch resting on nothing.

The green here is deep, bottle-dark, with a cold undertone — a rare colour for large light objects and memorable for that reason.

The model holds an international award. The intent is architectural gesture: the composition does not hang over a space, it spans it like a vault.

By day the ribbing breaks the deep bottle tone into dozens of shades: in one place the ribbon is almost black, in another it glows grass-green. In the evening the vault lights up from within, and the arch that rests on nothing turns out to be glowing as well.
