Metal caught in the act of flowing. The form has run and crumpled — it looks not made but happened, as though it had been stopped a second before it flowed further.

Some drops are opaque and mirrored, others glow from within. Because of that the cluster burns in every other element: the light here is selective rather than general, and the composition reads as a branch on which half the berries have ripened.

By day it is a gathering of mercury bubbles with a cool blue-steel shift. In the evening gold kindles inside them — a warm patch amid cold metal, like fire seen through ice.
