One form at a distance, a hundred forms from two steps away. From afar it is a dense sphere; come closer and it breaks into separate elements, each at its own angle.

The light comes not from the caps but from the stems: the tubes glow along their whole length, and the composition becomes a tangle of luminous lines with discs laid over it. The caps reflect that light and invert it — hot from below, cool from above.

By day it is a sculpture read through mass and silhouette. In the evening it is a mycelium lifted out of the earth and hung from the ceiling: what grows in darkness, carried into the light and still glowing on its own.

For living rooms, stairwells, zones above a round table, restaurants, lounges.

Style
