Pure plasticity of line. Two bands run one above the other, rising, falling, twisting at their ends and parting — not one repeated passage along the whole length.
The ribbing changes density as it turns: the ribbon almost disappears, then fills with colour. The lights along the rim are set unevenly and emphasise the curves precisely where the line turns.
By day it is two smoky bands frozen in the air — nearly graphics, nearly a technical drawing. In the evening the light runs along the rim and scatters across the ribbing in fine highlights: what remains is a trace left by light in the dark — a stroke with no visible hand behind it.
Where it works
An elongated horizontal format for long spaces: dining halls, meeting rooms, lobbies, reception areas, galleries.
Style
Contemporary minimalism and gallery aesthetics: empty walls, large planes, an absence of small decoration. The message is the gesture — a composition about the movement of a hand rather than about an object.
The length of the bands, the wave pattern, the tone and the number of lights along the rim are all made to order.

The translucent structure creates a feeling of lightness, yet the composition visually occupies the whole volume of the room without overloading it. By day the object works as a sculpture. In the evening — as soft light graphics. It is especially interesting to watch how the character of the composition changes with colour: - a deep dark shade makes the interior almost cinematic; - green turns the light into something natural, like the glowing line of a plant or an exotic leaf; - blue evokes an evening sky and cool quiet.
