The same botany without the fireflies and at a larger calibre. There are fewer leaves, they are markedly bigger, and each one reads on its own — instead of a mass you get a herbarium, where the specimen matters.

The composition is sparse: wide gaps between the leaves, visible cables, the whole mass looking light. The leaves are turned at random, some flat, some on edge.

By day it is a herbarium suspended in the air: a matte surface with worked venation, green patina beside warm bronze. In the evening the light falls on the leaves from below and from the side — the patina absorbs it and gives a subdued glow, the bronze edges flare sharply and trace each leaf with a hot line, and the veins read as relief. A crown lit from beneath.

Where it works

An elongated horizontal format — long dining tables, meeting rooms, reception areas, winter gardens. The sparseness gives little light: the piece is an accent, not a main source.
