A composition about a current. The arc rises at one end, sags in the middle and lifts again; the petals are turned along that line, in layers. Density grows toward the centre and falls toward the ends, where single elements break away and hang alone — a flock moving as one.

The surface is smooth, without texture of any kind: only form and finish are at work. White gloss and polished gold — two ways of meeting light, and nothing more.

By day it is the pure contrast of two surfaces: opaque gloss beside mirrored gold, read through silhouette and highlight. In the evening the gold petals reflect the light and flare into radiant stars, while the white ones diffuse it and stay soft patches. A current in which every second element burns.

Where it works

An elongated horizontal format — long dining tables, bar counters, lobbies, meeting rooms, reception areas. The curve of the arc is calculated for the length of the zone.

Style

Contemporary Art Deco and minimalism: two finishes, not one superfluous element. The message is representative — a piece for an interior that rests on proportion.
