A composition about flight in all its phases at once. The wings are open, folded, turned — one movement broken into frames and gathered into a single vertical.

Snow-white ones with gold bodies alternate with occasional graphite blue: gulls and petrels in one flock. The dark wings give depth and rhythm.

By day the white feather texture gathers light from the space and looks luminous with no lamps at all — the piece works on daylight alone. In the evening, under directed light, the texture gives a relief of light and shade while the dark wings drop into hollows: the flock becomes more contrasted than it is by day.

Where it works

Interiors where the lighting is already resolved and what is needed is volume, movement and character — living rooms, entrance halls, staircases, reception rooms. The composition requires no wiring.
