A composition about passion and restraint. The white flowers burn, the burgundy ones keep silent: the light lives only in the pale bowls while the dark ones hold colour and depth. One composition speaks in two voices at once.

The petals are crumpled, uneven, alive; the cluster is assembled on a vertical gold axis. Red and white on gold is a classic operatic register.

By day it is a dense cluster of cream and burgundy on gold — a saturated piece read through colour and the plasticity of the petals. In the evening the white bowls fill with warm light and the burgundy ones go into deep shadow: the composition turns dramatic, like a stage where not everyone is lit.

Where it works

Staircases, tall niches, bay windows, private living rooms. The vertical format takes little floor area and requires height.
