The same language, assembled more densely. The leaves are threaded one above another along a spiral and form a single twisted trunk; the tubes rise in a bundle around it, some above the foliage, some lost in its depth. Instead of a grove, one plant.

The thick form produces powerful optics: each leaf holds an inverted reflection of the neighbouring elements, and sharp highlights flare on the cut edges.

By day it is a transparent trunk read through highlights and distortions — a piece with no weight. In the evening light from the bases of the tubes rises and lights the trunk from within: a plant that glows from the root. Chrome gives an icy, almost aqueous reading; the gold finish turns the same form into a warm amber column — the leaves do not change, the temperature of the whole piece does.

Where it works

The corner of a living room, the zone beside a window, a pier between cabinets — wherever a vertical without mass is needed. Transparency requires a dark or saturated background: against a white wall the floor lamp loses its silhouette.

Style

Organic Art Nouveau and minimalism: the spiral as the single device. The message is lightness — a piece for a tight space that must not be made heavier.
