A composition about order breaking. Below, strict graphic work: the even verticals of a bundle, a clean line, nothing surplus. Above, the form explodes — clear "tongues" with ragged, seemingly fractured edges twist upward and fly apart, like flame or spray in a freeze frame.

The contrast of order and chaos is the model's principal device, and it reads instantly: one piece showing two states at once.

By day the floor lamp works as silhouette: a strict base, a dishevelled top, transparent fractures catching daylight. In the evening light travels from the ends of the tubes straight into the tongues and ignites every fracture — the gold version reads as a warm torch, the chrome one as a fountain of icy water. In both finishes the tongues themselves stay clear: the temperature is set by the rods.

Where it works

Entrance halls, the zone beside a staircase, meeting rooms — wherever a strong vertical accent is needed that takes up no floor area. The spread of the upper part requires clearance to the sides.

Contemporary sculpture and brutal opulence: destruction as a form. The message is bold — a piece for an interior with character.
