Lighting composition (Award Winning)
LC0341
A flower caught at the moment of opening. The petals are not fully unfurled — the movement is stopped a little before it finished, and the whole life of the object is in that.
Blue and white alternate in layers, so the sphere looks solid even switched off. The light is hidden in the core and pushes out between the petals, lifting their edges — what glows is not the surface but the gaps.
The composition received an international award. It is built on a rare balance: a recognisable natural form with not one naturalistic detail.
By day the sphere looks solid even switched off — the blue and white layers alternate and give light and shade. In the evening the light from the core pushes out between the petals and lifts their edges: what glows is not the surface but the gaps, and the flower turns out to be outlined in light.
Where it works
Above a round table, in a bedroom over the bed, in an entrance hall, in a dressing room — wherever a whole silhouette and soft shadowless light matter.
Style
Contemporary classic and soft Art Nouveau: rounded furniture, velvet, pale walls. The message is flowering — a note of spring in an interior, kept strict in form.
The diameter of the sphere, the number of petals and the palette are all made to order.
