The same flower, brought down to human height. The bloom is tilted slightly — like a real one reaching for the light — and the floor lamp stops being an object and becomes company beside an armchair.
The proportions rest on a risk: a heavy head, the finest of stems, a substantial base. The object looks fragile while remaining perfectly stable — a deliberate illusion, and everything was calculated for it.
The light goes up and to the side, leaving the floor in shadow. This is not general lighting but personal lighting — a circle you sit in.
By day it is a sculpture on the finest of stems: the tilted bloom reads as a silhouette, the base carries the weight. In the evening the light goes up and to the side, leaving the floor in shadow — one lit circle appears around the armchair, personal rather than general.
Where it works
Beside an armchair in a living room, at the head of a bed, in the corner of a study, in a hotel lounge. Works solo and in a pair flanking a sofa — in two colours it reads at once as a pair of different flowers.
Style
Contemporary classic and feminine Art Nouveau: a soft line, nothing technical. The message is intimacy — the floor lamp does not light the room, it makes one comfortable corner.
The height, the colour of the bloom and the finish of the base are all made to order.

The ceramic gives the composition depth and a tactile quality — the light does not dazzle but glides gently across the surface, emphasising the curves and creating a living, intimate glow. A slender vertical post heightens the sense of lightness and elongation, while a cylindrical base gives architectural stability and balance. Floor lamp LC0340 is not merely a light source but an interior art object that works with the space even when switched off.
