A form impossible to repeat twice. The lines do not follow the rules of a sphere, they fall as thread falls — freely, overlapping, with hollows and thickenings.

This is a composition about the hand-made: behind the apparent chaos stands exact calculation, but the eye reads not calculation but a nest, a cocoon, a ball of yarn — something wound rather than drawn.

The light is born at the knots of the weave and scatters in hundreds of points. The honey tone takes away the cold, and the sphere begins to seem warm to the touch — an illusion the whole object rests on.
