A flowering with half the blooms still closed. Some corollas glow from within, others stay blind and merely reflect their neighbours — a garden caught halfway through the process.

The edge of every corolla is uneven, with folds, like a real flower after rain. One and the same form is rendered in two textures, and their alternation gives the composition a depth that neither one gives on its own.

The spiral of the cascade leads the eye downward and never lets it settle: however long you look, there is always a flower you have not yet made out.

By day it is a botanical sculpture — relief, shadow, two textures in dialogue. In the evening it is a garden where half the bush has come into bloom and the other half has gone into the dark.

A vertical format made for stairwells, double-height living rooms, bay windows, tall entrance halls.

Style

Contemporary classic and soft Art Nouveau: pastel walls, rounded furniture, brass fittings. The message is generosity — the composition reads as an armful just carried into the house.
