A net sagging under its own weight. The form is set not by a designer but by physics — the mesh falls the way any net stretched between fixed points will fall.

The light enters at a knot and runs along the tape to the next one, so what glows is not a point but the whole thread: the lattice turns out to be drawn entirely in light. A bluish cast in the mass adds to the likeness with water — a net raised while still wet.

By day the object throws diamond shadows on the floor and reads as graphic work; in the evening it becomes a glowing web beneath the ceiling.

Large flat ceilings: lobbies, conference halls, panoramic living rooms, co-working spaces, exhibition spaces.

Style

Contemporary minimalism and a marine theme kept from the literal: pale tones, natural textures, plenty of air. The message is simplicity of solution — one idea carried through to the end, with not one surplus detail.
