A nugget given a transparent shell. The gold lives inside the mass — it creases, catches the light and glows through from within, while staying out of reach.

No two elements are alike: each has its own twist and its own inner pattern of foil. The composition alternates fully gilded pieces with half-clear ones, and because of that the mass reads as a volume with deep hollows between the layers.

By day it is a collection of nuggets lifted into the air and laid out on invisible shelves. In the evening the light ignites the foil from inside and the group begins to shimmer red-gold — gold that burns rather than glints.
