Pleating that works as venation. The relief radiates from the centre, and when light passes through the thin wall the folds emerge like the veins of a real leaf.

The edges are all uneven and slightly rolled: the composition looks grown rather than stamped out. The discs hang in layers, overlapping — the way water lilies lie when there is not quite enough room on the water.

By day it is a field of white leaves, calm and almost graphic. In the evening it is a pool lit from beneath the water: the light comes from below, from where a real pond has nothing but silt.

For large horizontal spaces: lobbies, panoramic living rooms, dining rooms, spas, meeting rooms.

Style

Eco-modernism and Japanese minimalism: pale timber, paper, water, emptiness as a material. The message is stillness — a composition about water without movement and about time that has stopped.
