Frost settled on rock. Below, stone with violet, ochre and golden veining — the most colourful element in the whole structure; above, a colourless mass working purely through refraction.

The light passes from pendant to pendant, refracting at each: from outside it is impossible to tell where the source is — the cone itself glows. Onto the stone the light falls from above and lights the veining, so it fills with colour.

By day it is a stone column with an icy cap — heavy below, clear above. In the evening the cap lights up from within and the stone answers from below: two glows moving toward each other.
