Floor lamp
LC0188
A composition about structure that does not hide. Chromed rods run right through the column, and the author does not mask them — on the contrary, broad gaps are left between the gold blades so the frame stays visible. The piece honestly shows how it is made.
The blades — a broad leaf with a sharp tip and a slight twist — run in tiers from bottom to top, overlapping. Each is turned on its axis its own way: the column comes out transparent despite the density of metal.
By day it is a sculpture in two metals: cool chrome inside, warm gold outside, and the contrast holds the object. In the evening the light comes from below, strikes the underside of every blade and reflects upward — the belly lights up while the top stays dark. Deep inside the column the chrome catches the gold reflections and multiplies them.
Where it works
Living rooms, halls, reception rooms, bars, showrooms. Light reflected upward lifts the ceiling — the lamp works as a source of volume, not only as an accent.
Style
Industrial luxury and Art Deco: exposed structure, expensive finish. The message is technical — a piece for someone who cares how a thing is made.
The column height, the number of blades, the metal finish and the height of the light unit are all made to order.
