The same solution in hard plasticity. Instead of soft waves — large planes meeting at angles, and an inner opening with sharp projections and hollows. The form is closer to a nugget or a fragment of ore than to an organic fold.
The device is identical but the result is different: on the flat facets the highlights are broad and calm, on the breaks they flare sharply, and the object reads more graphically than the round version.
By day it is metal melted and set again — polished gold with cool reflections, heavy and angular. In the evening the light runs along the inner rim and lights the ragged contour: you see not the shape of the object but the outline of the hole in it. On angular geometry the device works more dramatically than on soft — an opening with fire behind it.
Where it works
Entrance halls, private studies, bars, lounges, gallery walls. The hard plasticity needs a dark or neutral backdrop.
Style
Brutalist luxury and contemporary art: the fracture instead of the line. The message is hard — a piece for an interior that does not soften.
The dimensions, the character of the geometry, the metal finish and the lighting scheme are all made to order.
