Wall sculpture
LC0070
A composition about the mark of the hammer. Uneven dents, grooves and swellings run across the whole frame — as though the metal had been struck while still soft. The pattern is irregular, without a single repeat: handwork is shown as it is, not smoothed away.
The chief difference from the other mirrors in the line is the backlight. It is hidden in a ring recess between frame and mirror and emerges as a narrow band.
By day the frame works through texture: pale antiqued silver with gold wear and dark patina in the hollows, a matte surface with visible grain. In the evening the light comes from within and grazes the relief — every dent takes a shadow, the frame gains volume, and the mirror itself sits inside a glowing ring. The convex plate meanwhile draws the room into a compact frame with strong distortion at the edges.
Where it works
Entrance halls, corridors, bedrooms, bathrooms, dressing rooms. The backlight makes the mirror functional for the zone, but the convexity distorts the reflection — it is not a mirror for getting ready.
Style
Brutalist luxury and hand forging: the marks of work as decoration. The message is honest and craft-driven — a piece that shows how it was made.
The diameter, the character of the forging, the metal finish and the brightness of the backlight are all made to order.
