The same fracture at intimate size. One element, taken from the mass and hung on the wall at eye level — where the texture is seen close to and the slit of light reads not as a device but as a detail.

The reduction changes the tone of voice: a large composition impresses, a small one invites you closer. The piece is made for short distance.

By day it is a graphic object on the wall: the black texture of the breaks, the golden veins along the edges, nothing more. In the evening the slit lights up as a thin vertical and lays a soft warm halo on the wall around it — the mass stays dark, only the crack glows.

Where it works

Entrance halls, corridors, bedrooms at the bedhead, studies. Solo as a single accent, or in a series — then a rhythm of fractures grows across the wall.

Sconce LC0543-1 This is a sculptural art object frozen in the moment between light and matter. Light passes through the complex texture of the glass, refracts, scatters and gives birth to a soft, living glow. The texture recalls a split crystal or icy rock in which light is not reflected but refracted, fractured and softly released.
