LC0543
The object is split vertically into two leaves with a narrow slit between them carrying a lit strip. Both leaves take the shape of an elongated leaf and are covered with a relief of small raised scales divided by bronze veins. The surface is dark and matt; the light from the slit falls only on the near edge and beyond that goes into shadow. The height of the leaves is set for the project.

Textured glass with a fracture effect and an inner light source create the impression that light is breaking through a crystalline shell. The surface works as a complex optical structure — it reflects, refracts, splits and gathers the rays into a soft, deep glow. The form is asymmetric, alive, tense. This is an independent light sculpture. A composition of these elements forms a spatial rhythm — a landscape of light in which each element is autonomous, yet together they create a single dynamic. Suspensions of varying height heighten the sense of movement and depth.
