A composition about the solid pretending to be silk. The plasticity is deliberately textile: folds, ruffles, softness — the ribs of the domes work as the spokes of a parasol, the frills of the tentacles as foam.

The layered cloud reassembles itself from every angle: now domes, now skirts, now glowing cores.

By day it is a dusty lilac mass with textile plasticity — a piece read through folds and soft colour. In the evening a warm peach light shows through the frills and paints the composition with a sunset gradient: lilac above passing into peach below, and the light quite literally embraces.

Where it works

Bedrooms, boudoirs, window displays, boutiques, private living rooms. Soft warm light without glare suits zones where people rest.
