A stylised flower at the moment of opening. The bands are angled and overlap one another — the movement is stopped halfway and the eye completes what it cannot see.

Every band catches the light at its own angle, so the wreath shimmers around its whole circumference without one static highlight. The composition changes with every step the viewer takes — it does not depict movement, it creates it.

The light lifts the reverse of the bands and only a radiant contour escapes. A dark core at the centre keeps the form from scattering.

By day it is only reflections: the room taken apart into shards. In the evening it is a ring of light around emptiness, with neither a source nor a centre.

Works on the ceiling and on the wall: an entrance hall, above a round table, on an accent wall, in a reception room, in a showroom.

Style
