Wall composition
LC0315
A bird's tail at the moment of opening. The bands are angled and overlap one another — the movement is stopped halfway and the eye completes what it cannot see.
Every band catches the light at its own angle, so the wreath shimmers around its whole circumference without one static highlight. The composition changes with every step the viewer takes — it does not depict movement, it creates it.
The light lifts the reverse of the bands and only a radiant contour escapes. A dark core at the centre keeps the form from scattering.
By day it is metal: the room taken apart into shards of reflection. In the evening it is a ring of light around emptiness, with neither a source nor a centre.
Where it works
Works on the ceiling and on the wall: an entrance hall, above a round table, on an accent wall, in a reception room, in a showroom.
Style
Contemporary minimalism and gallery aesthetics: white walls, large planes, no small-scale decor. The message is pure plasticity — there is no subject here, only form, light and the pause between the elements.
The diameter, the number of bands and the finish are all made to order.
